تم تصميم البرنامج التحضيري (التأسيسي) بهدف تسليح الطلبة المقبولين بالكلية بالمعارف والمهارات اللازمة بفاعلية وكفاءة لمرحلة الدراسة ما بعد الثانوية.  يتكون البرنامج من مقررات دراسية في مجالات اللغة الإنجليزية، الرياضيات وتقنية المعلومات.  يهدف البرنامج الى تشجيـع التعليـم الفعّـال واكتساب المعارف الراسخة وتقوية الدافع على النجاح في جميـع المهارات اللغـويـة اللازمـة في الأوضاع الاكاديمية وفي جميع مناحي الحياة.

توفر مقررات اللغة الانجليزية العديد من الفرص للمتعلمين المهتمين باللغة عن طريق برنامج تواصلي شامل.  ويطور هذا البرنامج كفاءة التواصل من خلال اربع مهارات وهي: الاستماع، التحدث، القراءة، والكتابة.  يتعرض الطلاب لخدمات تعليمية متنوعة عن طريق الاستيعاب، التفكير الناقد وانشطة التواصل بجانب المهارات الدراسية. ويسعى البرنامج الى توظيف أحدث الاساليب والطرق التي تساعد في توجيه الطالب نحو التعلم العملي المستقل.

توفر مقررات الرياضيات للطلبة وسائل لتعلم اسس المفاهيم الرياضية واستخدامها عن طريق تعرضهم للخواص الحسابية، القواعد الاساسية بجد والمسائل الهندسية. وتقدم المقررات ايضا القواعد الاساسية في علم الإحصائي، المعادلات الرباعية والهندسة التحليلية.

يمنح مكون تقنية المعلومات للطالب الاساس النظري لفهم كيفية عمل جهاز الحاسوب وكذلك توفر لهم تدريب عملي على تطبيق برمجيات الحاسوب. لذلك فأن الانشطة التعليمية المختلفة تمد الطالب بالمعرفة العملية لتقنية المعلومات.

عند اتمام البرنامج التأسيسي سيتمكن الطالب من التالي:

  1. اظهار كفاءة في اللغة الانجليزية في المستوى المتوسط العالي بطريقة احترافية.
  2. تطبيق المفاهيم الرياضية واساسيات علم الجبر والمثلثات والاحصاء لحل المسائل بطريقة علمية.
  3. استخدام المعرفة النظرية والعملية لتقنية المعلومات في حياتهم الاكاديمية.
