Review examination guidelines and make recommendation as per the program requirement

Ensure that the examination paper is aligned with the test blueprint

Review examination scripts for all subjects and provide feedback. Scripts must be received two (2) weeks prior to the examination. The examination committee shall return the moderated examination paper within three (3) working days. The course leader shall submit the corrected paper prior to photocopying

Ensure the availability of sufficient copies and safekeeping of examination scripts of all subjects by coordinating with course leaders

Investigate and report to the college administration any attempts of cheating reported by faculty members

Investigate and report to the college administration any concerns or matters that may arise related to examination

Ensure the availability of examination venue/hall suitable for the students during final examination

Scope of Activities

1. Implement the quality assurance and enhancement procedures of MOH Quality Assurance Committee for the Academic Affairs (QACAA) in order to safeguard the quality and standards of nursing education in Dakhiliya Nursing Institute
-
2. Offer comments & guidance on the actions taken or required by the institute at each stage of the process of monitoring and evaluation by Oman Accreditation Council.

3. Contribute to the promotion and enhancement of high quality education and training in the institute through the dissemination and announcement of remarkable or innovative practice.

4. Periodically review and provide advices to the Dean on any changes that might be desirable to strengthen performance of nursing education and training in the institute

5. Make recommendations to the Dean in relation to the monitoring and enhancement of activities arising from the operation of quality management

6. Establish as appropriate sub-committees or other task oriented groups as the committee requires in order to accomplish the goals

Alumni of Al Dakhiliya Nursing institute reach out to the graduates across various years, batches and interest. The aim of our Alumni is to support the graduates with the knowledge and skills; to communicate and interpret the goals and achievements; and to promote a spirit of unity and loyalty among former students and friends. Alumni creates and maintains a life-long connection between the Institute and its alumni.
