About North Batinah Branch

The general purpose of Oman College for Health Sciences – North Batinah operating under the auspices of the Ministry of Health is to prepare professional nurses to meet the demand for qualified professional Omani nurses. North Batinah Nursing Branch is committed to meeting this purpose by molding young nurses from this governorate to serve their compatriots, offering quality health care on a par with international standards.

North Batinah Profile

The four year Bachelor program preceded by a one year Foundation course is formulated by the Ministry of Health. The first batch of students from North Batinah Branch graduated in 1999.

In line with its vision, mission and values, OCHS- NB provides quality education to support the health institutions of the region by continually responding to the changes & demands of the program and the community. North Batinah Branch has a collaborative learning and working environment that fosters professionalism, innovation, active learning and caring. Guided by the principles of quality and improvement, the OCHS- NB strives to contribute significantly to Omanization of the nursing workforce in the governorate.
