The Academic Calendar serves as an information source and planning document for students, faculty, staff and departments, as well as outside organizations. The calendar includes registration dates, class start dates, exam dates and more. The academic calendar is divided into fall and spring semesters of approximately 15 weeks each and summer sessions of 6 weeks length. The last week of the semesters is set aside for final clinical examinations
