Welcome to Oman College of Health Sciences-South Batinah (OCHS-SB) branch’s website. I am privileged to represent in this message the OCHS-SB faculty and staff members who serve the college through teaching, research, and support services.
Our goal is to prepare competent nurses through a conducive learning environment that based on evidence-based practice and research. We are determined to prepare nurses who are committed to lifelong learning, who can influence the health system positively and provide quality health services.

We are proud of what we have accomplished so far. Our graduates’ exhibited the ability to play their expected roles within the health care team and within the various health care institutions in South Batinah governorate and in other places. The profile of our graduates who have already pursued higher education and those who have exhibited their leadership qualities is another indication of success.

While we continue to deliver quality education, we keep a keen eye on the future as well. We are actively engaged in curriculum planning and reviewing and we are incorporating the latest in educational technology.

The nursing program at OCHS-SB has witnessed tremendous improvement since its inauguration in 1994, one of them was the promotion of the program from diploma degree to bachelor’s degree (BSN). As a student of this college, you are expected to contribute to this noble profession. With your dedication and the support of college’s faculty, we anticipate you will be able to successfully complete your BSN program and attain the graduate attributes.
We accept students from wilayats of South Batinah governorate, except students from Wilayat of Barka who get admitted at nursing program in Muscat.
